ERIK KRAEMER JOINS SIMULACRUM
As Yngwie J. Malmsteen could comment on the recent line-up change in the Simulacrum camp; More is more! Simulacrum warmly welcomes vocalist Erik Kraemer as an additional singer to the band. His singing style will be a great asset both live and on the next studio album that is currently being written and is heading towards the modern realms of djent. Even though Erik represents the high pitched traditional power metal sound, the coloring of his voice differs from Niklas' in a way that lets them both shine and it is easy to spot which one of them is singing on the songs. An upcoming gig with Alcyona Sky (feat. members of Amoral) confirmed at On The Rocks, Helsinki on the 30th of June! The band has a little surprise for this gig ;) The facebook event for the gig can be found HERE!
Simulacrum's keyboard wizzard Chrism has joined the multinational melodic hard rock band Eden's Curse and will be releasing an album with them in 2016 through AFM Records. An UK-tour is already booked for November and tickets can be bought at www.edenscurse.com

SKY DIVIDED MUSIC VIDEO
In this music video we follow the bunker survival battle of a soldier unit in the dismal post-apocalyptic world of the near future. The song reflects Simulacrum's present sound, which is heavy and progressive but without forgetting excellent melodies. The next music video "Embrace The Animal Within" will be released on the 28th of August and it represents the bands Power Metal side. RELEASE DATE, TRACKLIST & ARTWORK!
Fans of progressive and melodic metal are offered a real treat, when Simulacrum release their new concept album, Sky Divided through Inverse Records on the 28th of August 2015. An album, seeking out the boundaries of the melodic and progressive universe, with new and refreshing ideas to the genre. Huge choruses and heavy riffing, underlined by big laden atmospheric keys, finally topped with a strong and powerful voice. The artwork is created by Jan Yrlund, who has worked with artists, such as Manowar, Sirenia & Stratovarius and the cover portrayes the post-apocalyptic mood of the album's title track. The album is a hefty, 62 minutes long and the tracklist is as follows:
